This week I have gradually kicked the sinus/chest cold.
I was able to get a solid progressive 3 miler in on Tuesday and a 5.5 miler in on Wed. Knees are fine but are always fine under 7-8 miles. Ordering a second PT strap for my ITB before the 20k in two weekends and definitely have them for the Shamrock.
Probably try to do a short run on the treddy tonight, some strengthening and core work. Hopefully the rain holds off and I can get a FLSP long run done in the morning on Saturday. Doesn't look promising but I would really like to get an 8-10 miler done this weekend. Sunday will be a bust as parents are in town for youngest son's birthday. Spring hurry up!
It took me 25 years to decide to run again after being a high school track sprinter. My wife was doubtful and asked that question. She had already experienced 25 years living with a marathon running father and now her husband was going to start running. I have done it. I have become a runner.I will attempt to document my experiences and share interesting tidbits along the way
